Atlas / Pellizzari Electric was hired by Samtrans to replace an older generator with a new 600KVA unit, including a 1,600 amp automatic transfer switch, new building enclosure, remote fuel tank, and tie-in to the existing electrical service at the Samtrans North Base Facility.  This original design included a bus duct system but certain constraints and value engineering allowed us to install quadruple parallel feeders connected into the switchgear bussing from the transfer switch.  This made for a challenging shutdown that lasted several hours but worked out well.
