Atlas / Pellizzari Electric teamed up with Milender White to build a 15MW photo voltaic utility farm for PG&E. Located in Five Points, CA, this project was part of a 5 year, 250MW renewable energy initiative mandated by the State of California, and consisted of a 1 square mile site that connected into the high voltage utility grid. Altas / Pellizzari was responsible for the entire electrical infrastructure, including AC high voltage interconnect, power inverters, DC string wiring, a grounding system, underground trenching, service pads, and overall system startup. Due to the project being on a fast track, an average of 30 electricians were needed over a 6 month period to complete it.
